At Cyn’s Joint, our story is rooted in a deep passion for food, culture, and community. Born hungry in the Boogie Down Bronx, Cynthia’s journey from craving to calling led to the creation of Cyn’s Joint in 2021. A love letter to her Nicaraguan, Dominican, and Nuyorican roots, our culinary offerings are a reflection of the finger foods that shaped her childhood. From bold, culturally grounded creations like Nicaragua’s Vigorón to seasonally sourced delights such as fresh Orange Guacamole, each dish tells a story of identity, comfort, and creativity.

With 3 years of experience in developing seasonal menus, we bring expertise in catering, pop-ups, and community-centered event curation to the table. Our strong background in partnership-building, fundraising, and community outreach allows us to create meaningful connections within the food ecosystem. Through deep engagement with local and seasonal food systems, including collaborations with community gardens, farms, and food justice organizations, we strive to advance food sovereignty, social connection, and environmental justice.

As we continue to evolve, our long-term vision includes launching a sustainable food truck that serves as both a mobile kitchen and a mobile garden.
